Days In Jaipur :Part III (Trip to Ajmer)

Earlier I had mentioned much of the places I had already been there in Jaipur. On being my concluding note (part) about Jaipur, I will try to mention about the places and occurrences which might try to fill-in the remaining holes and voids in my long cherished reminiscences.

It was Sunday, I had one more week to stay there, but in next two days friends from Raipur had to move on as their training started one week earlier than mine. So it was a time for outing. We sat and discussed about the places we could visit. After a majority poll, neither 'Ranthambore' nor  'Water park' came to conclusion. so the Idea got dropped and in no time I and Suryakant got ready to watch Transformer 4 in 3D. Rest were enjoying the holiday siesta at room.

It might be about 9 am.  on the way I had seen a young lady in long veil dropped till a little higher to her waist, to my surprise was, she sweeping door outside her home. at the time it was hard to imagine how she could sweep and do her household chores in such a long veil. But in Rajasthan it is a common practice and they are used to it. today we took a auto to reach 'Cinepolis' otherwise usually we jump over the railing and cross the rail tracks to reach there. when we reached there we come to know that the all tickets got sold out, as it was Sunday and on tickets left were of higher prices so we returned without watching the movie. we took our usual path.

When we reached room a little sweating, 'Shubham Dabir' proposed to visit 'Dargah Sharif', Ajmer. Six of us agreed on this. It's a bit late but, since place of faith needs bath, so we had to mandotarily do it by our faith which took us a little while more. We were either in slippers or ketos ,as we agreed on no shoes to Dargah and and more necessarily we didn't forgot to take handkerchiefs. Meanwhile some of us keeping an eye on then current running trains to Ajmer and nearest station to catch; others went to inform the house-lord about outing remaining were getting ready. Approx about 11 we left for station. Hurriedly changing decisions led us to Gandhinagar station we boarded 'Ranikhet Express' for Ajmer at about noon. we reached there by 1500 hrs

In train, journey of three hours passed in gossiping, napping, watching and taking pictures of outside the window. Thorny bushes and long grasses midst barren lands were eye-catchers,. Most of us were vegetarian and even if some were not, we were thinking twice to what and where to eat in Ajmer. our bellies were in turmoil, they were revolting our body as we starved since morning and now its 3 pm. we hadn't anything after last night's meal. with much suspicion we ordered for very plain diet, and quenched the belly-fires.

Now mobile GPS first led us to a dead end then by inquiring locals we moved ahead. A person helped despite of our will (as I was somewhat suspicious about him). We visited inside in-turns, others remained outside with belongings keeping eye on slippers. Police were checking people for security purposes. Entering twice gave me enough time to gaze details of the inside architecture as much it's possible. Choosing not to click pictures from formal camera we got some moments captured using our cell's cam; everyone's doing the same.

I saw a young couple were taking their less-abled to walk son to dargah, might they were victim of misfortune. It is very painful see our loving ones in pain, and we try anything to relieve them and keep them out of misfortunes. They supported their son to walk straight (beta, seedhe chalo beta) as he bent. They must have come there with supplication ( preferably 'Dua') for their child. (shayad tab Dua ki zaroorat thi unhe).

Didn't had enough time to visit 'Pushkar'; we had heard about single brahma mandir in India located there, which was going to be close by 1700hrs. Dusk was approaching as we waited for train. I couldn't recall much of return journey; mostly we remained silent, napping had nothing much to talk about. Reached pg late at night and fast we fall asleep.

I arrived Jaipur at night. Early in morning I was searching for pg. On same day at noon mercury variation made me feel fainting. In the evening  at grocery shop, met a boy singing and playing guitar He's been accompanied by his gang. He sang well.

At 'Gaurav tower' there were automobile show-rooms including BMW, Porcshe, Lamborghini, Land Rover. There were many BMWs out there. It became a daily routine for me to drink lassi or chaach of Jaipur Dairy.

There I bought Rajai from 'Rajasthan  Shilp Gram Udyog' and had it parceled to home. For home I bought Bangles (Churdi, Lahthi), bags etc.

The shopkeeper insisted on buying something also for girlfriend. To my surprise he was about to show lehngas, long skirts for my so called girlfriend; I just had to say that I need to have some gift for my girlfriend.

bhaiya, girlfriend ke liye lehnga le lo. O bhai, Long Skirt nikalna. Aap ek baar le jaaiye unhe bahut pasand aayega. Sabhi chaar-chaar piece le jaate hain. Inme se koi do le lo.
I was just laughing. :D

Training got over, I received training certificate and next day I headed to station. I had my reservation back to home.At Last, HOME SWEET HOME
